What Is RPL for the Certificate III in Concreting?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an Australian Government-endorsed assessment pathway that allows experienced concreters to have their existing skills, knowledge and workplace experience formally assessed against the units of a nationally recognised qualification — without completing full classroom-based study.

If you have been working as a concreter on residential slabs, commercial floors, industrial projects or civil infrastructure, you may already have the competencies required for the CPC33020 Certificate III in Concreting. RPL allows you to demonstrate those competencies through evidence rather than coursework.

The CPC33020 is the current nationally recognised Certificate III-level trade qualification for concreters across Australia under the CPC Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It covers the full range of concreting trade skills including formwork, concrete placement and finishing, reinforcement installation, decorative finishes and site safety. It is recognised by employers, licensing bodies and industry associations across all states and territories.

Current release: CPC33020 is the current Certificate III in Concreting under the CPC Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. Right Pathway builds all RPL assessments against the current qualification standard. If you hold an earlier concreting qualification, Right Pathway can advise on the most efficient recognition pathway.
