Cookie Policy and Preferences
Learn how cookies and related technologies support this website, how optional Google advertising tracking is controlled, and how to change your choices.
Manage Cookie PreferencesChoose “Only essentials” to decline optional cookies, or “I agree” to accept the optional services controlled by the banner.
Your choices at a glance
- Essential cookies support functions such as sessions, security and remembering your consent choice.
- Optional Google advertising consent is set to denied by default. The Google tag is configured to wait for optional-cookie approval.
- You can reopen the cookie banner using “Manage Cookie Preferences” on this page.
- Some analytics and performance tools operate without cookies and are not necessarily controlled by the optional-cookie banner.
This policy concerns the Right Pathway website. A partner Registered Training Organisation or an external website may have its own privacy and cookie policies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can help a website recognise a session, remember a choice or measure activity. Related technologies include browser storage, embedded content and requests sent to analytics or advertising providers.
Not every external request creates a cookie. A service may receive technical information, such as an IP address or browser details, even when it does not store cookies.
Cookies and storage that may be used
| Category | Purpose | Examples and qualifications |
|---|---|---|
| Session and security | Support website sessions, secure requests and requested interactive functions. |
Odoo may use session_id.
Additional security cookies depend on
the protection features used.
|
| Consent and functional preferences | Remember your cookie choice and support relevant language or time-zone functions. |
Odoo consent storage;
frontend_lang where used;
tz for the browser time zone.
|
| Advertising and measurement — optional | Support Google Ads campaign and conversion measurement and, where configured, advertising-related functions. |
Google advertising cookies may include
_gcl_*. Their presence depends
on consent and the Google tag configuration.
|
| Embedded services — optional where applicable | Display third-party content, such as videos or maps, on pages containing those features. | Provider-specific cookies or storage may be used after the relevant service is allowed. Not all pages contain these services. |
This overview is not an exhaustive cookie inventory. Cookie names and lifetimes can change. Some cookies last for a browser session; others remain until they expire or you delete them. Your browser's storage settings show the cookies currently stored on your device.
Advertising, analytics and third-party services
Google Ads
This website includes a Google Ads tag. Its consent configuration defaults advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation and analytics storage to denied.
The Google tag is configured to be withheld until optional cookies are accepted. Choosing “Only essentials” is intended to keep it blocked. Choosing “I agree” allows the banner-controlled optional services and updates the Google consent categories to granted.
An analytics consent setting in a Google tag does not, by itself, mean that a separate Google Analytics property is installed.
Plausible analytics
The website includes an Odoo-provided Plausible integration for website statistics. Plausible is designed for cookieless analytics. Cookieless measurement still involves processing website interaction and technical information.
Cloudflare performance measurement
The website includes a Cloudflare browser-performance beacon to help measure loading performance and technical experience. This is separate from Google advertising tracking.
The Plausible and Cloudflare performance scripts are currently included independently of the optional-cookie controls. Choosing “Only essentials” should not be understood as blocking every analytics or performance request.
Videos, maps and social content
Odoo's third-party blocking feature is enabled for supported services. Where an embedded service is blocked, you may need to allow optional cookies before its content loads.
Ordinary links to social profiles are different from embedded content. Following an external link takes you to a provider governed by its own policies.
Third-party services may process information outside Australia. Their processing locations, retention practices and privacy terms depend on the provider. Contact us if you need more information about an integration.
How to manage your choices
- Open the cookie banner using the button below.
- Choose “Only essentials” to decline optional cookies, or “I agree” to accept the optional services controlled by the banner.
- After changing your choice, reload the page to check how previously loaded content behaves.
Browser controls and existing cookies
Your browser settings let you inspect, delete or block cookies and other site storage. Blocking all cookies may affect forms, sessions or preference saving.
Changing consent does not necessarily delete cookies already stored or undo information previously sent to a provider. Use your browser's site-data controls to remove existing storage, and the provider's privacy controls for any available additional choices.
Do not rely on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals alone to change this website's cookie settings. Use the banner and browser controls directly.
Common cookie questions
Can I use the website without accepting optional cookies?
You can browse information and use core website functions without accepting optional cookies. Some third-party content may remain unavailable.
Does “Only essentials” stop all measurement?
No. It declines the optional services controlled by the banner. Separately included cookieless analytics and performance measurement may still operate.
Can I change my choice later?
Yes. Use “Manage Cookie Preferences” on this page to reopen Odoo's cookie banner. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies and site data.
Does accepting cookies enrol me in an RPL pathway?
No. Cookie consent concerns website technologies, not RPL services, marketing subscriptions or RTO enrolment. Right Pathway provides preliminary guidance and evidence-preparation support. Partner RTOs independently control formal assessment and certification.
