About the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support
The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support is the current, nationally recognised qualification for support workers in Australia. It supersedes the previous CHC33015 and reflects the latest industry standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Community Services Training Package.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following and contributing to an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or other reasons.
With the NDIS expanding rapidly and aged care reform driving demand for qualified workers, the CHC33021 is one of Australia's most in-demand care sector qualifications — and RPL is the fastest pathway for experienced workers to achieve it.
