About the BSB50120 Diploma of Business

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business is the current, nationally recognised qualification for business professionals in Australia. First released on 19 October 2020, it supersedes multiple previous Diploma-level business qualifications (BSB50215, BSB50315, BSB50415, BSB50815, BSB51518, BSB51715) and reflects the latest industry standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles who may have frontline management accountabilities. Individuals carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise requiring business operations skills, and may possess substantial experience across a range of settings.
